I am an employer who uses the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC). WOTC encourages employers to hire individuals who face barriers to employment. In so doing it creates opportunities for self-sufficiency, and helps to remove barriers to enter the workforce, while at the same time reducing public assistance expenditures. WOTC has been shown to more than pay for itself. Time is of the essence! I would like to encourage you to support and co-sponsor Cassidy-Hassan S.B. 492 to extend and expand this valuable tax credit before 12/31/25!
